The Garda Representative Association (GRA) has lost an appeal over changes to the amount of paid sick leave for the rank and file officers it represents.
In 2014, it was halved to three months on full pay, and three months on half pay over four years.
The GRA argued its members were in a unique position because of the increased risk of being injured in the line of duty.

The High Court rejected their challenge two years ago, and the Court of Appeal upheld that decision today.
