A formal identification and post-mortem will take place today of a man's body found in a slurry pit in Cork yesterday.
The remains, which were discovered on a farm near Whitechurch, are thought to be those of a man who had been reported missing in the area.
The scene has been sealed off to allow gardaí carry out forensic tests.

The cause of death will be established through a post-mortem at Cork University Hospital.
