Gardaí have confirmed the body of a homeless man was found in Dublin city centre on Friday morning.
A member of the public found the man on Dawson Lane, in Dublin 2, at approximately 7am.
Gardai were contacted and emergency services attended the scene.
There is no suspicion of foul play and it is believed the man died suddenly. He had been sleeping rough in the area for some time.
Dawson Lane, where the man was discovered, is close to where the body of homeless man Jonathan Corrie was found in December 2014, and just several hundred metres from Leinster House.
A post mortem examination is expected to take place later this evening.
