Renewed appeal to identify body found in Galway last year

Gardaí in Co Galway are renewing their appeal for information on a man whose body was found in Barna last year.

The body was found at Rusheen Bay Woods in September 2014.

Despite an international investigation and a facial reconstruction project, the man has not been identified.

The man is described as being between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately six foot tall and with black hair.

He is of broad/strong build and was wearing a gold bracelet watch (Caravelle by Bulova).

He was also wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and white and blue 'Athletech' runners.

He had a black belt with metal flower design studs and a silver colour buckle.

The clothing worn by the man is a brand mostly sold in Canada.
