A fundraising concert will be held in Dublin later this month for the seven Irish students injured in the Berkeley balcony collapse.
Acts confirmed so far include Jape, The Fontaines, Dublin Gospel Choir and Jessica Smith. The concert will take place in The Academy on July 23rd.
All bands are performing for free, and three floors of the venue have also been donated free of charge for the event.
Conall Carroll - a friend of Clodagh Cogley, who was seriously injured in the incident - says, "all of our friends are understandably devastated and have been trying to come up with a way to help the families affected. Obviously medical expenses will be a huge issue for them and something we wish they didn't have to worry about at this difficult time.
"We were thinking that as so many people in Dublin have been affected that lots of them would be willing to help raise funds," Conall explains.
You can find out more about the concert on Facebook, and tickets can be bought from Ticketmaster.
A GoFundMe page has also been set up for those who cannot attend the concert, or would like to donate more than the ticket cost of €25.
Six people were killed and seven injured when the balcony collapsed during a birthday party in Berkeley last month.
The family of Clodagh Cogley earlier this week posted the first public pictures of her recovery in San Francisco.
