Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a minibus and a car on Dublin's Collins' Avenue this evening.

The collision happened on the inbound lane at the the Whitehall junction just after 3pm.

Gardaí say the people have been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The road is open to traffic. However, delays are being reported in the area as a result of the crash.
