Three women and two men are still in police custody in England over the deaths of the family of a Dublin-based surgeon.

Muhammad Taufiq's wife and three children died in a suspected arson attack in Leicester on Thursday night.

The ages of the three women and two men being held range from 19 to 49.

Earlier, neurosurgeon Muhammad Taufiq spoke outside the local mosque about the devastating loss of his family.
