Gardaí are investigating a suspected arson attack at a gym on Dublin's northside in the early hours of this morning.
At 2am a car was driven into the doorway of the 24/hr gym in Coolock Retail Park on the Malahide Road and set alight.
Three units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene and the fire was then extinguished.
The gym has been extensively damaged, but nobody was injured in the blaze.
The scene has been sealed off pending a technical examination and Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

The vehicle caught fire outside a commercial premises just after 2.00am.

The Fire Brigade say the fire was contained to the front of the building.

However adjoining buildings were smoke logged.
A call was received to 999 at around 2.20am.
