ComReg to investigate Meteor and Three over changes to price plans

Last week, we told you about the upcoming changes to Three's offering on both bill-pay and Pay As You Go. It appears that Minister for Communications Denis Naughten is none too pleased with the changes. 

Minister Naughten has said that Three Ireland and Meteor, would be investigated by ComReg according to a report in The Times today, as both networks have reduced customers' EU roaming data allocation.

Health Minister Simon Harris has been compared to a 'rabbit caught in the headlights' over his handling of the National Maternity Hospital.

Fianna Fáil claims the Government should have acted more quickly to deal with concerns about its ownership.

Independent TD Mattie McGrath, meanwhile, claims the ownership of the new hospital is 'no big issue'.

Figures released by the Health Service Executive (HSE) have shown that parents of sick children attending Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin contributed more than €460,000 in car park fees last year.

The cost of parking is just one of a number of ‘hidden’ fees which parents must contend with when caring for a sick child in hospitals across the country.

Hillary Clinton has said she takes "absolute personal responsibility" for her election loss - but also blamed FBI Director James Comey and the leaking of emails connected to her campaign.

Mr Comey sent a letter to Congress less than two weeks before election day, indicating that his organisation was investigating newly discovered emails connected to Mrs Clinton's use of a private server while serving as US secretary of state.

Britain can't expect "no ramifications" from Brexit, chief whip says

The Government Chief Whip Regina Doherty says Britain cannot just pull out of the European Union and "expect to have no ramifications".

The Government says Irish people living in Britain should get "as much legal certainty and clarity as possible" during the negotiations.

It has published guidelines for the forthcoming talks as the UK leaves the European Union.
