Man in his 50s killed in Limerick shooting
Gardai in Bruff Co Limerick are investigating the fatal shooting of a 51-year-old man in Mountfune, Murroe, Co Limerick on Saturday.
At approximately 3.10pm Gardaí received a call that a man had been shot.
The man was seriously injured and was removed to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced dead shortly before 5pm.
Significant increase in support for Fianna Fáil

Anti-water charge protesters have been burning their bills at a protest rally outside the GPO in Dublin on Saturday evening.
Hundreds of people gathered in a march through the city, calling for water charges to be abolished.
Earlier, anti-water charge campaigners from around the country gathered at Heuston and Connolly stations before marching down the quays.
