One person has died following a bus crash in Dublin’s north inner city. 

It is understood that the crash involved a number of pedestrians and three people have been hospitalised. 

Talbot Street is closed from Gardiner Street, while Marlborough Street is closed from Cathal Brugha Street.

Local diversions have been put in place and shops in the area have been forced to close. 

The Luas is no longer running between Parnell Street and St Stephen’s Green.

“A number of ambulances have already left the scene since I arrived,” Newstalk reporter Emily Keegan told Moncrieff

“There was a white screen wrapped around that was involved in the incident - that’s now been removed too. 

“So, things are progressing quite quickly but Gardaí say the street is set to remain closed for some time now.”
