Drugs worth an estimated €50,000 have been seized in County Offaly and a woman in her 40s has been arrested.
At around 6 o'clock yesterday evening, detectives from the Kildare Division - assisted by the Tullamore Detective Unit - carried out a planned search of an apartment at Granary Court in Edenderry, Co Offaly.
Cannabis, ecstasy and cocaine were seized, along with drug paraphernalia. The drugs have an estimated street value of €50,000, pending analysis.
The woman, who was arrested at the scene, is being held under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Kildare Garda station.
