Gardaí have carried out a number of searches in Clontarf in Dublin, in connection with the investigation into the murder of David Byrne.

The 34-year-old was shot dead at a boxing weigh-in at the Regency Hotel in Dublin earlier this month.

Gardaí have conducted a number of searches at locations in the Clontarf area of the city today.

No arrests have been made, but gardaí say the operation is ongoing.
