Gardaí in Dublin are renewing their appeal for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 72-year-old woman.
Breda Delaney has been missing from her home at Avondale Court in Blackrock since the early hours of Saturday morning.
A sweep of the south Dublin coastline has been carried out in the search for the 72-year-old.
Breda's daughter Emer Delaney is also appealing to anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with the gardaí.
She spoke with Newstalk Lunchtime earlier today and pleaded with her mother to come home. She told Jonathan Healy she is "extremely concerned" about her mother.Breda is described as being five foot four inches tall, and of slight build with blonde-grey hair and blue eyes.
When last seen Breda was wearing a white cardigan, a grey calf length skirt and black shoes.
Gardaí are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone with information is to contact Blackrock Garda station on 01-666 5200, or any Garda station.
They are also requesting property owners in the Blackrock area to check their premises and grounds.
