Over 1,300 people have attended a conference organised by the Reform Alliance in Dublin.

The group of seven Fine Gael rebels says the crowd at the event was well above expectations.

Some attendees gave Lucinda Creighton a standing ovation when she discussed the group's stance on last year's abortion bill.

She says the group is trying to disrupt the usual system of politics in Ireland
