A convicted killer has been found guilty of murdering Kildare man Larry Keane in a laneway in Athy, in July of 2013.

Seamus Morgan with an addressee at The Hollands in Athy was sentenced to life in prison at the Central Criminal Court today.

It is not the first time the 49-year-old has been convicted of a serious crime.

In 2005, he was found guilty of the manslaughter of 29-year-old James Hand, who had been stabbed to death outside a Dublin pub.
