The construction industry saw the sharpest rise in activity in 11 years last month.

June's rating of 65.7 is also the second highest in the history of Ulster Bank's Construction PMI.

Growth was seen across housing, commercial and civil engineering sectors of the industry.

The positive figures follow a notable slowdown in the area in the early months of this year.
