Concern is mounting about the welfare of a missing mother and her newborn daughter.

23-year-old Paige Holland, also known as Abbie or Paige Goodier, left her home in Westview, Cloonfad in Roscommon last Friday.

Paige and her baby, Nevaeh, were last seen with Aaron Tighe, also known as Aaron Chadwick or Ian Smith.

Gardaí are liaising with child services TUSLA and say they're concerned about the safety of both the mother and child.
