President Michael D Higgins is attending the funeral of Clonmel crash victim Nicole ‘Nikki’ Murphy. 

The 18-year-old died, along with three others, on Friday when the car she was in crashed.

The group had been on their way to a Leaving Certificate results party.

Hundreds have lined the streets of Kilcash where the funeral is being held at St John the Baptist Church.

The mass is being celebrated by the local priest Father Brian Power and the burial will take place afterwards.

The funerals of the other three crash victims will take place later this week; siblings Luke and Grace McSweeney will be laid to rest on Friday and Zoey Coffey will be buried on Saturday.
