Boko Haram is reported to have killed almost 100 people in North Eastern Nigeria.

AFP reports more than 50 militants stormed a village on Wednesday evening and attacked people who had been worshipping in local Mosques.

The radical group has voiced its allegiance to Islamic State.

At least 97 people have been confirmed dead with attackers said to have burned the bodies of those they killed.
