Funerals for two victims of the Berkeley tragedy have taken place in south Dublin.

Olivia Burke was remembered at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Foxrock, while requiem mass for Niccolai Schuster was held in the Church of the Three Patrons in Rathgar.

The father of Olivia paid tribute to all of the victims of the tragedy - and in particular his daughter’s ‘cousin and soulmate’ Ashley Donohoe.

Olivia (21) and Ashley (22) were given a joint service in the US over the weekend - and both families came together again in Foxrock for Olivia’s funeral.

It was the second funeral of a Berkeley victim in the Church in 24 hours, after Eimear Walsh was laid to rest yesterday.

Olivia is survived by her parents - Paul and Paula - and her brother Gavin.

Bray musician Hozier was among the hundreds paying his respects at the funeral this morning, and played the recessional hymn.

Speaking at Olivia's funeral mass, her father paid tribute to those who joined her on the J1 trip to Berkeley.

At the same time, around 10 kilometres away in Rathgar, the funeral of Niccolai Schuster took place.

As a former pupil at St Mary's, many of yesterday's mourners also gathered today.

The chief mourners at the funeral were Niccolai's parents - John and Graziella - and his younger brother Alexei.

Rory McPhilips introduced the offertory gifts - which included a Rangers jersey, a racing programme, and many photos.

At the end of the service, Niccolai’s father John spoke at lenth about his ‘magical’ son - saying when his little brother Alexei heard the news, he was devastated. Mr Schuster urged Niccolai’s friends to keep visiting the family.

Niccolai is to be cremated at Mount Jerome this afternoon.

This was the moment his funeral cortège arrived at the church:

Today's funerals followed those of Eimear Walsh and Eoghan Culligan yesterday. The final funeral - that of Lorcán Miller - will take place tomorrow morning in Shankill.
