At least two people have been killed and more than 32 injured when a suicide bomber rammed into Germany's consulate in northern Afghanistan.
Police say the car exploded at the gate to the compound in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif.
There have been reports of gunfire at the scene.

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Local police chief Sayed Kamal Sadat told AFP: "The suicide attacker rammed his explosives-laden car into the wall of [the] German consulate in the city."
