Around 130 jobs are at risk at one of Tipperary's main pharmaceutical companies.
The High Court has appointed a provisional liquidator to Suir Pharma in Clonmel.
Staff were called to a meeting with management this afternoon.
They were informed of the trading difficulties being experienced by the company and were told to clear out their lockers.
This worker says that while the news has come as a shock, it was not a complete surprise as management had denied requests for meetings.
"When there was meetings basically we were fobbed off - we weren't given the answers to questions we were looking for," she said.
