A junior minister has insisted he is not on dating app Tinder, despite showing up as a picture on someone's profile.

Labour Minister of State for Equality, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, says he is not behind the profile of a user apparently aged 35 and named 'Paul'.

'Paul' says he is "only looking for daytime fun and nothing else".

The minister has taken to Twitter to say it is not him.

He also admits he has been ridiculed by office colleagues over his unexpected appearance.
