3 men have been arrested after a number of burglaries in Co. Kerry this week.

Homes in the Glenbeigh, Killorglin, Laharn and Killarney areas were targeted.

Gardai issued an appeal for information about a Silver Ford Galaxy car with a partial registration 08-D yesterday.

They believed this car was involved in the burglaries.

Cross-county arrests

Following a number of calls from the public a vehicle was seized by Gardai and 3 men all from Dublin were arrested in Currow in Co. Kerry, Mallow in Cork and Naas in Co. Kildare.

The man arrested in Naas has since been released.

However the other 2 have had their detentions extended until later today.
