100 new jobs are being created at Equifax in Dublin.
The Information Technology (IT) company, which organises data on consumers and businesses, is opening a new research and development centre on Sir John Rogerson's Quay.
It says recruitment is already underway for the highly-skilled positions.
The jobs will be in research and development and hiring already under way.
"We have made a big bet on Dublin as we recognize the technology talent pool is strong and the market can support Equifax’s increasing demand for bold, innovative thinking," said Paul O’Dwyer leader of the Dublin centre.
"Talent that is interested in working with a globally recognized leader in consumer, commercial and workforce information solutions that anticipates customers’ needs by delivering unparalleled customized insights through innovative data solutions is encouraged to apply."
The company already employees 90 people in Wexford.
Equifax works in 19 countries across four continents.
