National College of Ireland is gearing up to welcome its newest students through its Dublin doors this September but before that it's hosting a trio of business chats that should be extremely illuminating if you're hoping to become one of the commerce leaders of tomorrow.

Entrepreneur and the stimulating voice of Newtalk’s Down to Business, Bobby Kerr continues his lunchtime talks, 'In Conversation With...' on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 1pm, with this week’s motivating chat featuring Anne O’Leary, CEO of Vodafone Ireland.

An inspiration for business professionals all over Ireland, Anne O’Leary is responsible for Vodafone Ireland going from strength to strength, with over 2.4 million customers across mobile, fixed, broadband and TV and a 2,000 strong workforce under her leadership.

Having joined Vodafone from BT Ireland, Anne, a Cork native, spent five years as Enterprise Director of the telecoms giant before being appointed CEO in February 2013.

Since then, Anne has committed to investing in Ireland’s telecommunications infrastructure, resulting in Vodafone's nationwide rollout of 4G. She is also overseeing SIRO, Vodafone’s joint venture with the ESB, who are investing €450m in the roll out of high speed fibre broadband across Ireland in the bid to create a ‘gigabit society’ in Ireland, which is one where everyone has access to world class connectivity of 1 gigabit, whether they live in a rural village, town or city.

As well as championing wellbeing and diversity in the workplace, an initiative which has seen Vodafone secure a position as one of Ireland’s top ten Great Places to Work, Anne’s position in such an innovative and fast-paced sector means that she must constantly stay on top of emerging trends - a skill that has helped her become the businesswoman she is today.

If you want an insight into what it is that drives Anne to succeed, how she develops her leadership qualities and the ins and outs of being one of the country’s most successful CEO’s, head here to register for free admission.
