The new jobs being created are in technical sales, marketing, customer support and product development.

The project is supported by IDA Ireland through the Department of Jobs.

Jeff Ray, Ellucian president and CEO, said: "We keep higher education, technology, and enabling student success at the heart of all that we do. It fuels the growing global economy. There’s great talent in Ireland and we are proud to make investments in job creation to help propel that growth."

More than 1,500 institutions subscribe to Ellucian's cloud services.
