British company Fanmoji has released a new Irish themed emoji app, just in time for Euro 2016.

'Irishmoji' has over 150 stickers including Kilkenny castle, a hurley, Irish rugby and football jerseys, castles, islands and a crisp sandwich.

Familiar faces like James Joyce, Molly Malone and the Gardaí are also included, as well as very important phrases like “Scarlet” and “Deadly Buzz".

Each sticker was designed by Dublin illustrator Diarmuid Ó Catháin.

Irishmojis can be used in iMessage, Whatsapp and Google Hangouts, and on can be posted to Twitter and Facebook.

In May, the company asked for the public’s help to pick the remaining emojis for the App.

The Cliffs of Moher, St. Patrick, a Leprechaun hat and “Eejit” made the final cut.

The developers have also added a feature specifically for Euro 2016.

Irish Yourself’ enables users to create their own emoji using their phone's camera, which can be sent via the Irishmoji keyboard.
