Planning permission has been granted for a €200m Facebook data centre in Co Meath.
The Clonee site is the second in Europe for the social network.
It will see the construction of two buildings with a total floor space of over 50,000 square metres.
There will be 40 new full time jobs when the centre is complete, while hundreds of other jobs will be created during the construction phase.
Facebook recently moved into a bigger office space in the Dublin Docklands, where it employs over 900 people.
Meath County Council chairman, Brian Fitzgerald, told Newstalk Lunchtime the construction could take some time.
