One man has been killed and one woman injured in a shooting in Denver in Colorado.

The Denver Police Department have said the shooting does not appear to be random.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene with an apparent "self-inflicted" gunshot wound, while a female victim as transported to hospital.

Police say the scene is secure, but not clear.
