US actor Kevin Spacey has appeared in court on an indecent assault and battery charge.
He is accused of inappropriately touching an 18-year-old man in a bar in the state of Massachusetts in 2016.
It is claimed Spacey put his hands down the man's trousers as they stood next to a piano.
The 59-year-old 'House of Cards' star did not speak or enter a plea in court.
However his lawyer entered a plea of not guilty.
He has been ordered to stay away from the defendant and his family, who was not named in the brief court hearing.
Mr Spacey, who stood for most of the hearing, was dressed in a grey suit with a blue and white polka-dot tie and a white shirt with blue florals.
Holding a back glasses case, he sat when the judge told him he no longer had to stand.

The two legal teams argued back and forth over phone records, and how long they should be kept.
The judge said he would make a motion that phone records should be preserved for six months.
It reportedly relates to a video of the the alleged groping incident.
The man who has accused Spacey of groping him says he filmed part of the encounter on Snapchat.
He then sent on the footage to his girlfriend.
The case is set for a pre-trial hearing on March 4th.
While Mr Spacey does not have to appear that day, the judge said he should be available by phone.
He could face up to five years in jail if convicted.
