The firm is aiming to fill 100 positions this year - from graduate level to senior management - and is also launching a 2018 Graduate Programme in May to hire 70 IT graduates.

CEO of Version 1, Tom O’Connor, said: "We are extremely pleased to be able to announce these jobs in Dublin and this is a clear sign of our growth over the past five years and a very positive step for Version 1’s future.

"We have over achieved against the plans we had in 2014 and we are looking to further expand our workforce as we have ambitious plans for the future."

The company creates advanced software systems which aim to transform the way their clients do business.

Their business partners include Microsoft, Amazon and Oracle.

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny will officially make the jobs announcement later.

The announcement comes as Version 1 is currently expanding into the UK and Europe, following rapid growth over the past five years.

Since 2014, the company has created close to 200 extra jobs in Dublin and doubled its workforce to over 850 employees in Ireland and the UK.

It has offices in Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester and London.
