US Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has won the Missouri primary after her rival for the Democratic nomination Bernie Sanders conceded defeat.

The margin was razor thin between the two candidates.

The result means that Clinton won all five states where primary voting was held on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a Republican winner has yet to be announced in the Missouri primary.
