  • Am I Free?

Have you ever commited to a date, or going to a party, and later realised that it fell on the same day as a birthday, an important occasion or a big sporting event that you didn't want to miss?

As a result you couldn't attend both. Well "Am I Free" is the app for you. Created by Irish Developer Lughaidh O’Dwyer, this might help sort yourself out and is available in both iOS and Android.

KidsGuide.ie is a a free community magazine and website promoting high-quality and unique educational and entertainment services for kids.  

Geraldine Smythe moved with her family back to Dublin this past Spring and noticed many of the really wonderful afterschool and summer programs on offer seemed to be more like hidden gems for just a few people in the know. Immersive video presented in 360-degree view has moved from experimental to mainstream and now Google are presenting a series of of immersive video performances called Performing Arts through their Google Cultural Institute website.

Whether you’re into theater, opera, performance art, dance or music, each one puts you in the room with the artists in intimate settings as they perform for an audience of one: you.

Each video gives you multiple viewing angles (on stage and some from above) that can be changed even in the middle of a performance. These performances aren't experimental displays by unknown or up and coming artists; the immersive videos are from some of the best in the world, including actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company, dancers from the Paris Opera and musicians from Carnegie Hall.

One people with children especially might want to download before Christmas is the Room for More App which promises you will never run out of space on your phone again.

If you’d made an investment back in the day, how much would it be worth now? Tease yourself with this website which will tell you if you’d invested an amount in any of the big companies back in the day - including the day it went on the Stock market, how much it would be worth now. Choose from any of Apple, Amazon, Coca Cola, Google, Microsoft, Tesla, Burger King, Starbucks and many many more.

Tease yourself with how much your confirmation money would have gotten you now if you hadn’t spent it on an Amstrad or a Sega Megadrive.
