Console has taken control of a number of assets held by former CEO Paul Kelly.

The interim head of the suicide prevention society says they will now create a full inventory for presentation to the High Court on Tuesday.

On Friday, the court heard that lawyers had been unable to make contact with Mr Kelly and his wife.

He resigned following reports of financial irregularities at Console.

An RTÉ report earlier this month revealed concerns about the charity, which provides counselling for people bereaved by suicide.

Meanwhile, details of a HSE audit of the Console books show company credit cards were used for trips to Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

David Hall, who has been appointed as interim CEO of the charity, says the situation has changed over the weekend.

"The Kellys yesterday made contact in respect of handing over certain assets," he said. "That handover took place yesterday afternoon [...] and we took charge of books, records, computers, Visa cards and a whole host of other items."

He added they have also put two company cars in storage at an auction house.
