It has been an eventful two days for Sebastian Giovinco.

The Italian international helped his side top Group H in Euro 2016 qualifiers on Tuesday night as they defeated Norway in Rome. Giovinco came off the on the hour mark but failed to score in the 2-1 win. The 28 year came onto the field around 9pm Irish time.

After the game, Giovinco took a ten hour flight across the Atlantic to Toronto to play for his side FC Toronto last night in their league game against New York Red Bulls.

27 hours after he took to the field in the Stadio Olympico, FC Toronto's game began with Giovinco on the bench. He came on after 71 minutes and was on the score sheet seven minutes later.

Giovinco has been one of the best performers in MLS this year and is on course to win the player of the year award. The goal helped Toronto win 2-1 and reach the end of season play offs for the first time in their history. 

It's safe to say his efforts were noticed by the FC Toronto fans.
