Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has called up Peterborough United midfielder Jack Taylor for Sunday's game in Luxembourg.

Taylor replaces Jayson Molumby, who was ruled out because of injury earlier this week.

23 year-old Taylor was last named in a squad in November 2020.

He has yet to make his senior bow for the national team, but played seven times for the Under 21's.

Taylor has made 13 appearances in the Championship for Peterborough this season, scoring one goal.

Norwich City defender Andrew Omobamidele, who missed the draw against Portugal with an achilles injury, will travel to Luxembourg.

A win on Sunday will guarantee the Boys in Green third place in the group.
