Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced that he will retire from international football after Euro 2016.

The striker is his country's record scorer with 62 goals in 115 appearances.

"My last game will be in this Euros," he said.

Sweden will exit Euro 2016 if they do not beat Belgium in their final group game on Wednesday.

They have one point from a draw against Ireland and lost their second match against Italy 1-0.

Ibrahimovic is yet to score in this year's tournament, although his cross did force Ciaran Clark's own goal in the Ireland match.

The forward, who is leaving Paris Saint-Germain, is heavily linked with move to Manchester United where he would be joining his former Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho.
