Former Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga says he's interested in the Ireland manager's job.

Zenga won a double with Red Star Belgrade and also enjoyed success with Italian side Catania has told the Irish Examiner he is available if the FAI want to talk.

The 53-year-old has recently finished after two years with Al Nasr in the United Arab Emirates.

“I’m available if they want to talk to me,” said Zenga.

It has been reported today that if a full time manager is not appointed by next month's World Cup qualifiers against Germany and Kazahkstan then Alan Kelly will take charge.
