It's 15-years today since Wayne Rooney announced his arrival in the Premier League by cracking the ball off the underside of the crossbar and past David Seaman from 40-odd yards.

The 16-year old's strike ended a 30-game undefeated run for the Gunners - Alan Stubbs came on for the final moments of that game and joined Off The Ball tonight to share his memories of that period:

"He was obviously, as soon as he came up, we'd all heard about him training at the under 18s, under 16s training ground which was separate from where we trained ... We'd got wind that he was going to be coming up and joining us quite shortly.

"When he came up it was just unbelievable to see such a young lad with a fantastic football brain ... He was very confident in his ability, a lot like a lot of young lads who are just about to break through.

"They have no fear, they're fearless in what they do, they don't feel pressure or nothing," Stubbs told Off The Ball.

"He wasn't afraid to do anything, he wasn't afraid to try anything. It didn't matter who he was up against no matter how big the name was or how small the name was," he continued, telling Kevin Kilbane that he struggled to keep the youngster in-check when marking him on the training ground.

Talk soon turned to the side's current form as they have struggled to deal with the departure of star striker Romelu Lukaku:
