Ireland’s Women’s Rugby World Cup adventure has ended with disappointment, losing to France by a score of 25-18 in the third place playoff.
Despite crossing the line twice, with Grace Davitt and Niamh Briggs both scoring tries, it wasn’t enough as France touched down four times.
