Wimbledon has released the seeding lists for the tournament ahead of the Championship next week.

Of course, defending champion Novak Djokovic features as number one seed with Roger Federer coming in second and third seed goes to Andy Murray.

However, the big story is how far Nadal has dropped within those rankings. Although many were expecting a return to form this year, injury seems to have taken its toll and the former world champion has been finding it difficult in the bigger matches. Being seeded so low in French Open meant if he wasn't going to go out to Djokovic in the quarter finals, he would have most certainly gone out to Murray in the semis.

On the women's side of the tournament, Williams is still number one. She may even complete the Grand Slam this year. In fact, it's difficult to see how anyone could touch her in terms of her game. She played with a flu in the French Open, she still smashed it.

After her comes Kvitova, then Halep and further down the list than she would like, Maria Sharapova. There really isn't any question who's going to win here. It will be difficult to see Williams go down at Wimbledon.

Here's what those lists look like:

Top seeds - Men's singles

2. Roger Federer (Swi)

7. Milos Raonic (Can)

8. David Ferrer (Spa)

9. Marin Cilic (Cro)

10. Rafael Nadal (Spa)

Top seeds - Women's singles

5. Caroline Wozniacki (Den)

6. Lucie Safarova (Cze)

7. Ana Ivanovic (Ser)

8. Ekaterina Makarova (Rus)

9. Carla Suarez Navarro (Spa)
