On this morning's OTB AM Mossy Quinn replied to speculation that Diarmuid Connolly's days with the Dubs could be numbered.

Fellow-former Dub Keith Barr said yesterday that he does not expect Connolly to feature for the Boys in Blue next summer:

"I genuinely hope he is enjoying himself in America. I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays there. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds a new life for himself and, if that is the case, I’d be 100% delighted for him," he added, speaking at an AIB event.

Mossy does not support his theory: "To be honest what I find ironic with Keith’s piece is, he goes in to whether Diarmuid will ever play for Dublin again, I highly doubt that Keith has any inside track as to whether Diarmuid is going to play for Dublin again," he told OTB AM.

He added that he believes his club mate is still capable of playing inter-county football for a few more seasons.
