This year was the first for the Monday Rewind podcast hosted by our own Oisin Langan.

An early look back at weekend action, there were plenty of insightful interviews to choose from.

One of the standout ones from 2014 was the in-depth chat Oisin did with former Mayo footballer Conor Mortimer, where we learnt more about the real Mort, brushing away the lazy perceptions about the ex-forward.

The chat with referee David Coldrick also stands out as we often don't hear from GAA officials about the state of the game. Coldrick opened up about the black card rule while the Championship was already in full swing.

Speaking after a victory can be easy, but opening up right after a defeat can be tough for the player involved. The pain of a loss did not stop Tipperary's Noel McGrath from speaking to Oisin after this year's All Ireland hurling final replay.
