Klopp's motivational powers are well-documented at Borussia Dortmund and members of the Man United's hierarchy regard him as a genius.
An advocate of a high tempo and high pressing counter-attacking 4-2-3-1 at Dortmund, he would have to reinvigorate a side that has looked listless of late.
Like Klopp, Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone is seen as a master motivator which is evident from the way Los Colchoneros have taken La Liga and the Champions League by storm this season. His Atletico side are water tight defensively and concentrate on harrying the opposition and breaking quickly.
Holland manager Van Gaal comes from the Dutch school of football and the Champions League-winning manager has used a variety of formations during a long and much-traveled management career, although 4-3-3 is his current default with the Oranje.
