The draw for the first round of the hurling qualifiers has taken place this morning with Wexford v Cork the stand-out fixture. Five Leinster teams and three sides from Munster entered the backdoor this morning as they try and resurrect their All Ireland hopes.

The final game drawn is the highlight of Round 1 as Wexford welcome Cork to Wexford Park. Limerick will travel to Mullingar to face Westmeath after yesterdays loss to Tipperary. Offaly travel to Ennis to face Davy Fitzgerald's Clare. The only all Leinster tie of the round has drawn Laois and Dublin together.

Dates, times and venues are to be confirmed by the GAA later today.
