Former Birmingham forward Mauro Zarate has flown into London to finalise his move to West Ham.
The striker, who has also had spells with Italian sides Lazio and Inter Milan, is expected to sign a 3-year contract.
Zarate told Sky Sports News that former West Ham players Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano did their bit to convince him to move to east London.

"The city, the training ground, all is good. It's beautiful," he added.
It will be Zarate's second spell in England having spent time on loan at Birmingham City in 2008, where he scored four goals in 14 Premier League appearances.
