West Ham have confirmed their place in next season’s Premier League. The Hammers beat 10 man Tottenham 2-0 at Upton Park in today’s early game. An own goal from Harry Kane followed almost immediately after Younes Kabul was shown a red card after 24 minutes.

Andy Carroll rose in the Spurs box from a corner kick and sent the ball towards the goal. Kane got a touch but only enough to lift the ball past Lloris and into the Tottenham net.

Stewart downing added a second before half-time, a free kick that went through a rapidly disintegrating Spurs wall.
