Arsene Wenger has reportedly blocked Manchester United's transfer deadline day move for full-back Mathieu Debuchy.
The Arsenal defender is set to leave the club due to a lack of game-time, as he has found himself behind first choice Hector Bellerin in the Gunners right-back pecking order with months to go to Euro 2016 where he hopes to be involved with host nation France.
Man United have a host of injuries at full-back with Luke Shaw, Matteo Darmian, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young have left Louis van Gaal short in that department.
Instead a move back to France appears more likely for Debuchy, with Ligue 1 side Bordeaux's president Jean Louis Triaud describing a deal as a "possibility" for the ex-Newcastle and Lille player.
